President's Welcome Letter

I’m Yasi Lotfi, and I’m honored to be stepping in as your PTO President for the 2026–27 school year. I’ve been part of the CVHS community for five years now (my daughter is heading into her junior year and my son just graduated!), and I’ve loved watching this school and this parent community grow.

This year, my goals are simple: get more of you plugged into the volunteer roles and committees that keep CVHS running, and make it easier to find your place here — whether you have five hours a month or fifty. Truthfully, it’s our involvement that makes this school what it is: it’s how we show up for our teachers and staff, keep our campus looking like a place we’re proud of, and give our students the extras that make Carnegie feel like home. I’m looking forward to building on the traditions that bring us together — our fall Meet & Greet, Fish Camp, and our spring Crash Bash & Gala — and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together this year.

I’m so grateful to the outgoing board for the foundation they’ve built, and to this year’s incoming board for jumping in with such energy. If you’re looking for a way to get involved, I promise there’s a spot for you — reach out anytime.

Here’s to a great year together!
